An hour away from the coast, everything here encourages one to pursue the pleasures of fresh water. Guerlédan lake is the largest lake in Brittany. It is a huge strectch of water covering 400 hectares and 12 kilometres. Guerlédan is linked to the small lake of Korong by the Nantes to Brest Canal; the result of slave labour, which is another story. Today, the towpath is a delight to ramblers and the shores of the lake offer many opportunities to get-away from it all, on foot, by bike or on horseback on the forest paths and walks. In the heart of this same Brittany, Mother Nature reigns in all her splendour in heathland, gorges, forests and peat bogs, and creates a huge area for adventure and discoveries of all sorts.
