The copper hues of the granite, the vivid colours of the moors and the deep blue of the sea make the Pink Granite Coast an exception place. Between Perros-Guirec and Trébeurden, the wind and waves have carved the rocks, giving them unusual shapes. It is a magical landscape in which, if you let your imagination run loose, you can see an occasional shape of a tortoise or foot cut out of the rocks. In addition, not far from this fantastic coast, there stretches a wild archipelago; a true paradise for seabirds. These protected islands cover scarcely 40 hectares of land surface and comprise the largest bird sanctuary on the French coast. It shelters more than 15,000 couples of nesting birds.
